The process of making blown glass begins by gathering a blob of molten glass onto the end of a long metal blowpipe. Colors are introduced by adding metallic oxides or by rolling the hot glass in colored frit (crushed glass). The piece is then slowly cooled in an annealing oven to prevent cracking, ensuring its durability and beauty.
