Accepting these terms
By using Dalil Syria you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the guide.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. Accounts that are used to impersonate others, spam the community, or bypass moderation may be suspended.
Community photography
You may only upload photographs you took yourself or hold the rights to. By submitting a photograph you confirm you have the right to publish it and you grant Dalil Syria a non-exclusive licence to display it in the archive with the credit you provided. You keep ownership of your work and may ask for it to be removed. We reject images that are unrelated, misleading, watermarked without permission, or that show people in a way that violates their privacy or dignity.
Places and property listings
Suggestions for new places and accommodation submissions are reviewed by our editors before publication and may be edited, declined or removed. Property owners must submit accurate contact details, location and description; a verified mark means our team checked those details, not that we endorse or inspect the property.
Travel, safety and heritage information
Guides, safety advisories, visa notes, weather, routes and offline maps are published for general information and can change quickly. They are not professional, legal, security or medical advice. Always check official government advisories and local authorities before travelling, and follow site rules at heritage locations.
AI assistants
Our AI Receptionist and Hotel Concierge answer from our catalogue and may still make mistakes. Verify anything important — prices, opening hours, road conditions and availability — directly with the provider.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape the guide at scale, attempt to break its security, misuse the assistants, or publish unlawful, hateful or sectarian content. We may suspend access for any of these.
Intellectual property
Editorial text, design and compilations belong to Dalil Syria. Third-party photographs and encyclopaedic material remain with their rights holders and are used under their respective licences with attribution where required.
Liability
The guide is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Dalil Syria is not liable for losses arising from travel decisions, third-party services, or reliance on information published here.
Changes
We may update these terms as the platform grows. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
